Fewer pharmacies will be providing diabetes-testing supplies to Medicare Part B patients due to new accreditation requirements.

Medicare PART "D" covers most prescription drugs and some vaccines. Medicare PART "B" pays for durable medical equipment like wheelchairs, diabetes-testing supplies, and a few meds or vaccines.

Many pharmacies bill Medicare D daily for Rx drugs. Some also submit paper or electronic claims to Medicare B for other items.
