Requirements for dispensing buprenorphine tablets (Subutex, Suboxone) Rxs are confusing some techs and pharmacists.

All controlled drugs such as Lorcet (hydrocodone/acetaminophen), oxycodone, etc have to be processed according to special dispensing and inventory requirements...to prevent diversion or abuse.

Subutex and Suboxone are C-III drugs and are handled accordingly.
