You'll be hearing about Project ImPACT...a two-year study to show how pharmacists can improve compliance in patients on cholesterol-lowering therapy.

It's being conducted by APhA and funded by Merck.

Pharmacists will use a nifty Cholestech machine. It determines cholesterol levels from a fingerstick blood sample...then calculates the patient's risk of developing coronary heart disease.
